HELP!! New Neighbors!
Help! We have new neighbors!! We are dying! Last night we listened to mariachi music for hours with all of our doors and windows closed while our neighbors sat in their front yard drinking beer. I finally went over at 8:15pm to ask them to turn it off so our kids could sleep. Today it's been rap music all day and some more beer drinking. The bass is so loud it rattles our windows and I'm worried that my kids are going to learn some new words. They have at least 5 cars on their front lawn! Seriously, Glenn is going to go crazy if it happens again tonight. He wants to call the police. I don't want to have bad experiences with them already but we'll probably have to do it if it continues.

Oh my gosh I hate that! You don't want to cause bad blood, but they're so obnoxious! Good luck!
Yeah, the mariachi music is back right now, at least there's no no bad language in that!
man..that would be annoying!! That stinks that you have to go through this.
I'm so sorry! That is so hard! Especially since you have young children!! I hate contension. We should swap stories. We have some very annoying neighbors too. Our new favorite has a rooster that crows 24/7.
i've delt with that sort of thing all my adult life. finall, i have good neighbors and i'm so thankful for it. i know what you're going through. at least you don't have to hear them "getting it on". that's the absolute worst!!!
You could always compete with them by playing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir or something really loud. Or if you really want to pull out the big guns, After Glow. That duo is capable of even driving mormons crazy.
I'm with Mindy. Just move here! We could find you the best neighbors ever.
Sounds like you need to check on your cities noise violation
Because certain sounds at certain levels can be harmful to the health and welfare of others, find out if your city has adopted a noise ordinance that prohibits excessive and annoying sounds within the city limits.
The ordinance regulates specific times certain noise sources can be operated and defines noise limits within the city limits.
The Police Department should insure that this ordinance is obeyed by responding to noise complaints throughout the community.
Events or actions may be prohibited if they cause a noise disturbance. These include continuously barking dogs, noisy construction equipment, horns and signaling devices not being used for a danger warning, stereos and televisions, engine repair and testing or excessive party noise.
Violation of this ordinance is a Class 3 misdemeanor and can result in fines and/or incarceration.
For more information or to report a suspected noise violation, contact the Police Department to find out your rights.
Report exact time on noise for reference.
