Spouse Survey!

I was really surprised at the results of the survey this time! Most of us picked "Trust" as the most important. Only one picked "Love". I know that when I was first married 12 years ago or even when we were dating, I probably would have picked differently. Would you have picked differently at an earlier stage in your relationship, or if you were younger? Is it age or experience that makes us value one quality over another? What do you think?

Definitely experience, whether our own or observing other people's experiences.

i think that for me, i value those other things like trust and communication much more than in the beggining, but i still picked the same thing that i thought was important which was sense of humor. without my hubby having a sense of humor and making me laugh, i would lose it.

I think experience for sure. I've had so much experience that I know you could love someone with your whole soul and if there isn't trust the love won't be enough. When I was younger I thought all that mattered is how much you love someone. I was wrong and have a broken heart that trust is starting to repair.
